Articles 35, 265, 400 of the NYS Penal Code as well as the Extreme Risk Protection Order (Red Flag Law) are also discussed.
At the end of the course, each student receives a certificate of completion to present to the Pistol Permit Office when submitting his/her completed application form(s)
Blended Pistol Permit Course: The Blended Pistol Permit Course includes the above course and assistance in purchasing a firearm once you have obtained your pistol permit. You will also be taken to a range and instructed on how to fire the gun, as well as the proper way to clean your new firearm safely.
NYS Pistol Permit (for Erie, Genesee, and Niagara Counties) classes are held in East Aurora, NY 14052 or at your location.
New York State Regulations require that the applicant complete an NRA Basic Pistol Course and submit an application to the Pistol Permit Office in their county. The course supplies all the required application forms for each county.
